- “The Fades” is one of those great series that that’s able to take a variety of genres and blend them together into something amazing. It’s a compelling, action-packed series populated with relatable characters that resonate with viewers despite a weird plot that just continues to grow ever more outlandish as the series progresses. It’s primarily a tale about the end of the world, but it’s also a story about growing up different, taking responsibility for your actions and understanding that even the best intentions can lead to the most horrific of outcomes. Sadly, despite winning several awards and being an all around fantastic series, the one thing the “The Fades” has yet to deliver on is the promise of a second season due BBC 3 budget cuts. T_T
