Bhitov Journal: 10/25/2011

This why Bhitov no trust dolls.  With dead fish-eye stare and unnatural hard-soft body, doll lie on floor or sit on shelf. Pretend to be innocent toy, but really just waiting.  When penguin let guard down, then “CAW!”  Doll gobble up unlucky penguin like whale-barbarian who grab hatchling from ice-shore.

This why Bhitov made sure to burn all of hatch-sister’s dollies when little.  Bhitov careful!  Bhitov smart!  Bhitov always keep careful eye out for sneaky-sly doll-enemy!

Animation: “Zelda – The Musical” (Dorkly)

Bhitov Journal: 04/19/2017

Bhitov not understand why scrawny human boy so popular with attractive women.  No talk, no deal with birds in nice way, not even got best Tri-force ability, yet even tiny flying ball-light follow him around like him bird-god or something.  Prefer Ganandorf!  Him much better hero! Him big-strong, have best Tri-force power and long handsome nose-beak.  Him just like Great-Leader, except slighty weaker, because everyone know that Great-Leader is most powerful warrior…

Music Video: “Hello – How Are You?” (Kano)

– This isn’t the first time I’ve featured “Hello / How are you?” on the site, but it’s such a sweet sounding song (despite the somewhat sad lyrics -_-;;), I couldn’t resist sharing this vocal cover.  The previous post was also a cover of the original Vocoloid perfomance by Hatsune Miku, but this version has  a softer, fluffier feel to it compared to the Ritsuka cover which is both richer and fuller in quality. –

Details:

  • Song Title:  “Hello/How Are You?”
  • Composition/Lyrics: Nanou (ナノウ)
  • Cover Artist: Kano
  • Original Artist: Ritsuka (リツカ)
  • Album: N/A

Animation: “Requiem for a Romance”(Jonathan Ng)

 – This beautifully animated short film employs roughly drawn visuals set against a dynamic watercolor infused background to deliver its heart-rending story line.  The interplay between the two voice actors as they go through the painful process of dissolving a long-term relationship, complete with an almost gallows-like humor at times, feels very raw and real.   Break-ups are never fun, but it’s rare to find a piece of storytelling that captures this kind of emotionally-charged event with such finesse and genuine honesty without falling victim to hyperbole or oversimplification. –
